One of the joys of working from home …

Nasi lemak – a Malaysian dish comprised of beef rendang (a spicy beef stew, which I cook the evening before to allow the flavours to infuse and become richer), fried anchovies and peanuts, sambal, pickled carrot, cabbage and onion, boiled egg, fresh tomato and cucumber and coconut rice – all home made – served on a banana leaf (straight from my back yard)…
